Mission trip
Nov,.2006 with Olga Ross and Sherry Mills.
It's always a treat
to meet at the Midland Hotel
|

Olga Ross, of
California made her first Kenyan trip on her birthday.
|

Catherine and
Francis are both teachers as well as ministers of the gospel
|

Our long time
friend, Sherry Mills accompanied us on her first trip to Africa. She
made friends at every stop and has come home to help raise funds and
awareness of the needs of folks like the Wanjohis.
|
Francis has purchased a small lot in
Mangu and has begun building a church building. He has a vision to buy
surrounding lots and build a day care center for the community. Many
women live below the poverty line in the area and need to find care for
their children while they work. Francis and Catherine highly value
education and building the community through worship and work.
|
In 2007, Pastor Stanley traveled with us
to Nakuru to meet Pastor Francis. After sharing visions and goals,
Pastor Francis is joining us this year to help us at the Glory BB
Church pastor's conference. We look forward to the cross fertilization
of tribes within Kenya.
|
It has been in our hearts to work
ecumenically and
cross culturally. This is happening with more frequency
as Jesus draws us together in the Body of Christ. Too long have we been
separated .

Nakuru is located about 3 hours ride
north west of Nairobi.. It is a focal point of growth for the region,
with the population increasing beyond the resources for adequate
infrastructure.
It is perhaps best
known by tourists as the home of Nakuru Game Park, a national game park
of Kenya. Just one km east of town, it's a quick one day's safari with
stunning scenery and fabulous up-close encounters with the animals.
